Begonia 'Steve's Leaves Bumble Bee' Came from the same seed pod as 'Steve's Leaves Hornet', 'Steve's Leaves Hornet' and the award winning 'Steve's Leaves Yellow Jacket'. This exclusive hybrid features the same yellow flowers that make this collection unique. Green and dark purple with silver spots throughout. The yellow flowers and red petioles make for a beautiful display of colors. Like many rex hybrids, the colors in the leaves tend to vary depending on season. Colors tend to dull in the heat of summer but will become more vibrant again as the weather cools.

One of my favorite begonias! Arrived super healthy and I’m glad I took another shot at the ‘Bumble Bee’. My first one showed up weeks ago with one leaf, but quickly put out three new leafs. This one showed up (still middle of winter here in VT) with over a dozen chonky leaves. Welcome home, son. I’m so happy!!!!!!!!

My Bumble Bee begonia arrived in sad shape. I don’t know if something happened during shipping, but the other two begonias it came with are very healthy. My poor bumble bee, however, had but one small leaf that survived. It’s a very pretty leaf, though. I hope I can save it! Fingers crossed.
:::Update: she survived! And quickly put out three leaves in the last few weeks. Thanks to the best plant company ever!
